Living Bauhaus Residency

I am really happy to announce to be one of the artists in residence of the LIVING BAUHAUS ART FOUNDATION.

My focus lays on body and movement and how they relate to identity – and on people who see their self and body as a kind of speculative material, a tool and process of being and ‚becoming‘. I portray people with body modifications, athletes or dancers.

Throughout the studio residency I will focus on ‚street‘ athletes such as young people from areas like Berlin-Neukölln doing breakdance or parcour. With offering collaborative nonprofit workshops, the aim of the residency is to bring sport and art together and creative a unique artistic narrative for the residency. Collaborating with young people and starting a dialogue also is the Living Bauhaus foundation’s goal: to support art and its connection with society.
