Together with Androtechne I want to invite you to GARDENS OF EARTHLY DELIGHTS at the Espacio Gallery in Shoreditch.

We are 10 international artists all making work inspired by Hieronymus Bosch’s surreal 15th Century masterpiece. The painting can both intrigue and repel the viewer with its lurid beauty permeating the orgiastic landscape. Critics have ceaselessly debated as to whether it is an ‘admonition of worldly fleshy indulgence and a dire warning on the perils of life’s temptations’ or an ‘evocation of ultimate sexual joy’.

More than 500 years after its creation, this beguiling and surprisingly contemporary work of art is the source of inspiration for Androtechne’s exhibition ‘Gardens of Earthly Delights’. Androtechne, with its multidisciplinary membership, presents an array of new work in a variety of media including; video, painting, drawing, print-making, ceramics, photography, sculpture, conceptual and interactive art.

The show will be open from Tuesday November 9th – Sunday November 15th
